Update on Stone

Stone had his 4 month check-up on Monday. He is growing like a weed.

Here are is stats:

15 lbs 13 oz- (Wow!! He is a little chunky monkey.)
24 1/4 inches long
Head circumference- 17 1/4 inches

Apparently he has a large head because is in the 80th percentile for that. My OB kept telling me that he was going to have a big head when he was born, but at the 2 week check up his head was only in the 25th percentile. Maybe my OB can tell the future, because Stone has a big head now.

He did really well with his shots this time. Of course he screamed, but that ended shortly, and I didn't cry this time. Yea me!

So last night after I changed his diaper and his outfit after spitting up everywhere, I decided to see if he could sit by himself. He did for about 3 seconds. So I put him on the ground and after a few tries he sat up again! I couldn't believe it. We took a video of it, and I will try to get that up later. I can't believe how fast Stone is growing. I feel like just yesterday he came into our lives. Before we know it he is going to be crawling and then walking. :)

I will post some pictures later today, but for now we are off to take a walk.

It's been a while

It has been some time since I have posted. So this may be a longer one. Stone is getting so big. He loves to stand up and is started to dislike being held on his back when he is awake. He has started rolling over automatically when he is laid on his tummy. We still aren't sleeping through the night, but 4:30 isn't too bad. :)
Our sweet friends Melissa and Colton thought Stone would like to play in Colton's exersaucer. Well, Stone loves it. He will only tolerate it for about 5-10 minutes at a time, but he gets so excited when he sees it. Here are a few pictures.

I am not so sure about this blue seal that is staring at me.

Stone has now discovered that he enjoys chewing on fingers. Not necessarily his own. Mostly Daddy's. He will grab onto a finger and start focusing really hard to get it into his mouth. Poor Doug gets super slobbered while Stone chomps down.

Yum! Yum!

We went over to Dena's last Tuesday to spend time with Hudson, Colton, Dena, and Melissa. We had a great time. I can't wait for all three boys to be able to play together. Right before Melissa was about to leave, Melissa was talking to Stone and Colton started patting Stone on the chest. Then he leaned over and gave him sweet sugars. Colton was so gentle and sweet to Stone.
