Famous little one...

Stone is famous, well almost. When he was at his 2 week appointment we took pictures of him with our pediatrician (Dr. deVilleneuve). My mom is their billing supervisor, and she showed some of the ladies our blog at her office. Well, the office manager loved the picture so much that she said she wanted to use it on their new website. So, he has made his big debut. You can see his picture at and then click on Dr. deVilleneuve. There our little guy is.

On another note, Stone rolled over on Friday. I layed him on his tummy while I did some work at our church. He is holding his head up so high now. I walked about 4 feet away from him and when I turned around he was on his back. He has only rolled over one more time since then. So we are still working on it. :)

We had family pictures taken today. Thanks Beth for taking some great shots of us. I can't wait to see them! Stone cooperated so well. He didn't fuss at all until it was time to go home. He is fast asleep now and I am wasting time instead of cleaning house.

Weekend away with the family

Last weekend we went to the lake with Doug's family. We stayed in a really nice house and enjoyed time outside. The weather was great in the upper 80's and low 90's all weekend. Doug stayed until Sunday and then had to head home for work. Stone was kissed and snuggled a lot and we all enjoyed out time. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

We rented "Mules" for the day. Now, don't think we road around on stinky animals all day. Mules are like 4 wheel drive golf carts. Tons of fun to ride around on the back trails through the woods. Kimbralie and Susan (Doug's sister) however, didn't find them so fun when they got a flat tire and had to walk back 45 minutes to the house. Then 2 days later they ran out of gas on the trails. Not much luck for them. :)

We enjoyed playing cards. As you can see Stone enjoyed playing too. :)

Stone was actually holding the card as Kimbralie held him over the table.

So tired after such a long trip.

Our little baby is growing.

Stone has been recently just hanging out with mommy during the day. He is growing and eating more. He is sleeping alot at night, but he does wake up once for a feeding. He does wake up a second time sometimes, but not alot. We feel very lucky that he is a good baby, and we really can't complain. He does do all the normal baby crying when he is hungry, sleepy, or wet/poopy. We are very blessed to have him. He is below just chilling on the blanket

It seems like a dream that it was around two and a half months that we first brought him home. He is getting bigger everyday and becoming more expressive. When he is in his swing he will follow us with his eye some and if we sit by him as he swings he seems to be calmer. I love the picture below. Stones seems like he is considering or waiting for something.

He is just a little boy that we have the awesome time watching as he gets a little bigger everyday.

I think that he is doing his best impression of daddy watching TV below, but daddy doesn't suck on his hand that anyone has seen.

Here we attempted to see how he would like to be in the pool. I think he doesn't like it to much. The water is probably a little cold, but we like the hat. And who is that good looking guy holding Stone?

a. Daddy b. Inigo Mantoya c. Who (from first base) d. A captain from Deadliest Catch
(There will be no prize for correct answer.)
