Time flies

So, last Wednesday Stone was one month. I can't believe how fast time flies. He is already looking so much bigger and changing. I weighed him on Sunday and he weighs 10.2 lbs. He is obviously quite a good eater. We are trying to stretch him now to every 4 hours instead of every 3 hours. I know he can do it, he just likes to eat.

We spent Sunday with my mom (Nonna) for her birthday. We enjoyed sitting outside on the swing watching everyone swim.

Stone cries real tears now, which you can't really see in this picture.
It just breaks my heart to see them though.

Just spending time outside. Stone loves to be outside. If he
is crying, he instantly stops when you step outdoors with him.

Happy Father's day!

I am a little behind in posting this. We enjoyed a relaxing day at home on Sunday for Father's day. We started the day by venturing out to church. This was Stone's first time to church. He made it through the songs, and then he started to get fussy, so I enjoyed the service from the lobby. Uncle Wick came with us and enjoyed holding Stone after the service.

Doug is doing great at being a daddy to a newborn. He is already a great daddy to Kimbralie, and now he gets to enjoy fatherhood even more.

Who is that looking at me?

Almost 3 weeks!

I can't believe our little boy is almost 3 weeks old. Time seems to be flying by already and I know it isn't going to slow down any. He is quite alert now, and is awake every day from about 9 am until noon. He just sits and looks around. He is settling into a little schedule. Here are some updated pictures of him. He is starting to grow out of his newborn clothes and can now wear 0-3 month clothing.

My daddy and I just hanging out!

Big yawns! I try really hard not to fall asleep, and I tend to fuss a lot as I fall asleep.

My pouty face. Daddy was trying to catch a picture of my smile,
but this is what he got instead. :(

Enjoying tummy time. I am quite strong and I already hold my head up when I lay on my mommy or daddy's chest.

I am so afraid my paci is going to leave my mouth, so I have to hold on to it.

First Doctor's visit

We had our first check up at the doctor on Tuesday. Stone was quite fussy since it was well past his time to eat. He weighs 8 lbs 1 oz now! I know it is only slightly bigger than when he was born, but he already seems bigger. Dr. de was trying to calm him down as you can see in some of the pictures where he is sitting up. As he was talking, Stone slowly started to slump over and give up. Stone was very upset that everything wasn't coming to a stop so he could eat.

Stone and Dr. de having a little chat.

I give up!!
